Friday Morning Live

The Carroll Choir performed this morning. They did such a nice job! December birthdays were celebrated as well. A big congratulations to Trevor and Dillon for winning the art award this month. 

Adding dialogue

The students wrote speech bubbles to wordless books today. We are practicing adding dialogue to our writing in order to enhance our voice. We also brainstormed new words for said. It's overused!!

iPads

We used the iPads as a fun way to review the three types of verbs. The students read a sentence and picked out the verb in the sentence. They had to decide if it was an action verb, helping verb, or linking verb. Then they checked their answers by scanning the qr code on the sentence strip.

Hitouch Hitech

A big thank you to our PTA for having Hitouch,Hitech come to 3rd grade today. The students were engaged in science experiments for 90 minutes. Enjoy the pictures!
