Thank you all for the birthday wishes and treats. We had such a fun day! Your kids did an awesome job on their book reports and ran hard during Boosterthon. It was great to see so many of you today. Pledge envelopes are due by Wednesday, November 6th. Thank you for your support! 

Monster Match- Mrs. Wilson's class

We had a great afternoon sharing drawings and writings with third graders at Robertson Elementary. They showed good character and were very well behaved. I am so proud of them!!

Monster Match was a success! The students learned how important details are in a descriptive paper. They had great behavior throughout the conference. I am very proud of them!

Opera

We had a nice morning watching an opera production. The kids really enjoyed it. They did a Q&A afterwards. Very interesting!! Ask your children how the opera version was different from version of the story they know. 

Playful uses of language

The students loved reading tongue twisters and figuring out riddles.

Bluebonnets

We are encouraging the students to read at least five Bluebonnets this year. If they complete a short survey after reading each book, they will get to vote for their favorite in the spring. There are 20 to choose from so we hope they will rise up to the challenge!
