Chrome books

Mrs. G. showed the students how to use popplet on the chrome books today. We will be using this application when we focus on main idea in the upcoming weeks. They were able to practice creating one during part of their library time today. 

Chrome books

The students will be taking turns practicing logging in with their chrome book username and password this week. It is a longer username so we want them to practice.

Float Your Boat Challenge

Today in science we built boats out of foil and used pennies to try to float our boats! Be sure to ask your child about their observations. :)

Sequencing with a timeline

I can identify the steps in the writing process. 

Students created a timeline to sequence events. We discussed how a timeline is a helpful tool to put ideas in order before drafting. 

How to Buzz!

The students practiced having conversations about their books with their reading partners.
