Main idea and supporting details

We have been working on using text features (such as titles, subtitles and pictures) to help us decide on the main idea.

Book Fair Preview

Book fair will be open this week and on Monday, October 13. Below are the instructions the we received from Mrs. G.

Before School: We are open before school at 7:30From 7:30-7:40 all students who have money, may enter the book fair to shop. At 7:40 we make the students who have NOT checked in with their teachers do so before coming in. When the music starts, we have volunteers take the merchandise, place a sticky note with the student’s name on it and we are hold the items so they can come back and pay for them (if they have money, we will take the money…run the transaction and then bring their books and change to them).

During School: If a student has money and you would like to send them, feel free to do so. Normally, they come during their recess time.

After School: We are open until 3:30. Students must have a parent with them if they come after school.
